I am an equestrian & rural photographer based in North Yorkshire and have lived and been involved with the countryside all my life.
I was pony mad as a child and eventually my parents relented and purchased my first pony when I was nine years of age. I became hooked on pony club and equestrian competitions which led me into a career at a high level within the equestrian industry for many years giving me insight into movement and portrayal of horses.
My life then took a different turn and I became involved with shooting, training and working my gun dogs, along with having my own point to pointer. I always had a camera about me and photographed everything we did.
It seemed a natural progression, to put my insight and ability to connect with my subjects to good use, and produce images to produce lasting memories for you to enjoy. I have always had an eye for the quirky or unusual moment enabling me to capture those unique moments that other photographers may discard. I have a relaxed approach as I capture these unique moments and emotions, to provide you with treasured memories of your un-forgettable times at equestrian events, special occasions, shooting parties along with the Bespoke Photography service I can provide.
